80年代前半よりレゲエバンドのRestrictionで活動を開始。
Ray Mightyとの出会いの後、ブリストル・ミュージックの代表格として君臨するSmith & Mightyとしての活動を始める。Smith & Mightyは、Wild Bunch / Massive Attackと並ぶブリストルの顔としてメディアにも大々的に取り上げられた。
その後自らのレーベル、More Rockers Recordsを設立。
これまでに『BASS IS MATERNAL』、『BIG WORLD SMALL WORLD』、『LIFE IS...』などの名盤を残している。
03年には初のベストアルバム『FROM BASS TO VIBRATION』を発表。
初期のMassive Attackにも参加していたPeter DとのDrum & BassユニットやMore Rockersでの活動も精力的に行い、06年には2ndソロアルバム『IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER』を発表。
現在はRSD名義として本格的にダブステップシーンに参入。
UK Dub〜Drum & Bass〜Dubstep界においてトップクリエーター/トップDJとして活躍中である。

He started his career from early 80’s as the reggae band ’Restriction’, and started ‘Smith & Mighty’ which represents the Bristle music after he met Ray Mighty.
Smith & Mighty was admitted as one of the the best Bristle music band like Wild Bunch / Massive Attack and the media didn’t leave them alone.
They established their own Label ‘More Rockers Records’ after a short while, and
released『BASS IS MATERNAL』『BIG WORLD SMALL WORLD』『LIFE IS...』so far. They also released their first best album 『FROM BASS TO VIBRATION』in 2003.
Not only as More Rockers but the drum and bass unit with Peter D who was the member of early days of Massive Attack is going well, and his second solo album ‘None way or another’ was out in 2006.
They are now seriously in the Dub Step Scene as RSD, and crowned as the top creator and DJ in UK Dub〜Drum&Bass〜Dub Step scene.
